Purchasing a property
If you are considering purchasing a home with or without the assistance of a Broker you should consider the following information.
Unless you are professional in the Real Estate field there may be several questions on your mind.
"AM I PAYING MORE FOR THIS PROPERTY THAN IT IS WORTH?"
"AM I GETTING A GOOD BUY ON THIS HOME?"
"IS THIS PROPERTY A GOOD INVESTMENT FOR ME?"
"ARE PROPERTY VALUES IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD GOING UP, DOWN,OR ARE THEY STABLE?"
"SHOULD I PAY WHAT THEY ARE ASKING OR SHOULD I MAKE AN OFFER?"
"HOW MUCH SHOULD I OFFER?"
We suggest that you consider a pre appraisal of the property you are considering purchasing, If you have the property appraised before you purchase it, you will know the answer to all the above questions.
After you have purchased the property you can use the appraisal for mortgage financing, simply present the appraisal to the financial institution and they can contact us to update it for them.
If the asking price is higher than the market value, the appraisal can be used as a tool to present to the seller as to what the fair value of the property is.
